THE IDEA
A symbolism that speaks to empowerment and connection
THE ROOT
At the heart of the design stands a trio of black female silhouettes, their arms extended upward and outward to form intertwining branches. These figures represent the foundation of collective strength. Women deeply rooted in purpose, growth, and community.
The seamless transition from roots to branches signifies the full cycle of nurturing, evolution, and giving back. The essence of what it means to build change from within and extend it outward to the world.
WARMTH OF THE GLOBE
Encircling them is a soft pink globe, centered on Africa, with a heart elegantly fused into the continent’s outline. This detail highlights compassion as the core of global change and places Africa as the cradle of resilience, creativity, and renewal at the emotional center of the narrative.
The chosen pink hue, drawn directly from the brand’s palette, evokes empathy, care, and gentleness, balancing the strength of the black figures with warmth and humanity.
PURPOSE DRIVEN
Around the emblem, the name “Positive Distinguished Black Women For Global Change” flows gracefully along the globe’s top arc. Bold, modern, and unwavering. It stands as a declaration of presence and purpose.
Below, the inscription “Proverbs 31:20 (KJV)” sits in a softer pink, offering a spiritual anchor — “She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.” This verse reinforces the heart of the organization’s mission: compassion in action, faith in leadership, and service through empowerment.
